Good people like you have kept us vibrant for the past 25 years.

We have become a vital source of commitment, collaboration and compassion in meeting the needs of homeless women and children in our community from a humble beginning in the Church of Our Savior Episcopal parish rectory a mere 25 years ago.  It is bittersweet to celebrate really  – we wish that we did not have to exist at all!  We wish that there were no more homeless families in Cincinnati.

We will mark this anniversary by re energizing ourselves and reaching out to more of you to help us fulfill our mission of service, education and advocacy while working to bring an end to homelessness. Let us bring about a city where homelessness is a memory and everyone has safe, decent housing and services to enable healthy, productive lives.

The big dreams that we dreamt in 1985, we brought into reality.  You have been part of that community of miracles that is BHS and we hope that you will celebrate this very special year with us.  We welcome every kind of celebration and hope you will have your own and invite us to come!!!

As lead agency of the Family Shelter Partnership Program, we are proud to share with you that the Rapid Re Housing Program has begun. This holistic program brings together a team of specialists to walk the journey from homelessness to housing and stability for homeless families. Case management, mental health counseling, life skills literacy, job training and work force development as well as learning how to manage time and money will all be part of the program. The partnerships we have created are all proud to be a part of this promising initiative. We can think of no better way to celebrate our Anniversary.
