Field Trips

Kick Off for Bethany House Services Field Trips begins in June:

Bethany House Services in collaboration with others provides a full range of housing, education and assistance to homeless and disadvantaged women and children.

THIS YEAR CINCINNATI CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL WILL BE PARTNERING WITH BETHANY HOUSE SERVICES TO MAKE THIS THE BEST CARNIVAL EVER!!!

This year, children at Bethany House Services Emergency Shelter will be taking several field trips. With the rising costs of admission and transportation we have had to cut back on field trips and are having "Family Fun Days" at the emergency shelter.
In June, the families will travel to COSI; approximately 18 adults, 25 children over the age of 2, and 6 children under the age of 2 will be taking a school bus for a day of fun. For most of them this will be a first time experience at COSI.  Field trips to the zoo, Parky's Farm, Kings Island, and Cincinnati Children's Museum.

For most of these families field trips and the Children's Carnival on Wednesday, July 11th from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. will be the highlight of their summer.
In the past, BHS and AAA of Cincinnati, The Charles H. Dater Foundation, Kings Island, The Greater Cincinnati Foundation, The Manuel D. & Rhoda Mayerson Foundation, The Carroll Foundation and others will be helping to give these families an experience of a lifetime.

Here is a perfect opportunity for all of us to make a difference in the life of a child.
