About Us

Governed by a working Board of Trustees as a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt organization which functions with seven standing committees, Bethany House Services was incorporated in 1984 and is a leader in the community.

BHS addresses the needs of homeless and disadvantaged women and children through direct service and systematic change initiatives, e.g., Greater Cincinnati Coalition for the Homeless, Emergency Services Coalition, Cincinnatians for Affordable Housing, etc.

Bethany House Services is not an agency of United Way or Community Chest.

Bethany House Services collaborates with others to provide a full range of housing, education, and assistance programs to homeless and disadvantaged women and children.

Our staff consists of 30 employees and a dedicated group of approximately 200 volunteers.
