Bethany House Services (BHS) collaborates with others to provide a full range of housing, education, and assistance programs to homeless and disadvantaged women and children.
Governed by a working Board of Directors as a 501(c)(3) tax — exempt organization which functions with fifteen standing committees, Bethany House Services was incorporated in 1984 and is a leader in the community.
BHS addresses the needs of homeless and disadvantaged women and children through direct service and systematic change initiatives, e.g., Greater Cincinnati Coalition for the Homeless, COHHIO, Strategies to End Homelessness, UpSpring (formerly Faces without Places), Continuum of Care, and Project Connect.
As of January 1, 2016, Bethany House Services is a United Way agency. Our staff consists of 31 employees and a dedicated group of approximately 500 volunteers.
